August 30-31 RMVR Tumbleweed Challenge Vintage Races, La Junta Raceway, CO
La Junta has a long and gloried history of sports car racing on it's airport runways. The new, upgraded track on the airport site is located in the southwestern part of Colorado and attracts racers across the southwest promising full grids for max fun.
Now upgraded with modern circuit paving to a 1.5 mile flat track with eight turns it still offers a throwback to when sports car racing on airports began in the 1950s. Liberal track time is a feature for all RMVR member drivers and VMC member club vintage racers for only $350 entry fee!
There is a special HPDE/time trials track lapping run group for would be racers at safe speeds in a street or race car.
