2024 Put-In-Bay Sports Car Races, Sept 17-19 Celebrates 50s & 60s, Porsche Featured

The original Put-In-Bay Sports Car Races began in the 1950s through the town and eventually on the airport accompanied by parties and celebrations.

That spirit of celebrating the joy of racing unique sports cars continues.  There is vintage racing on the original airport, through the streets circuit touring, exhibition laps, car shows and social events.

Pre-1991, under 3 liter production sports cars, up to 2 liter sports cars, vintage Formula Junior - Formula Vee - Formula Ford are all invited.  The event celebrates "Sports Car Racing The Way It Was . . . And Still Can Be!"
