Formula 5000 2022 Revival Series Opens June 16-19 During SVRA Vintage On Indy Road Circuit
The second 2022 F5000 Series race is July 14-17 during the Road America WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman vintage and historic race weekend and festival.
The third 2022 F5000 Revival Series race is September 7-11 at Watkins Glen International during the SVRA vintage races during a Speed Tour pro racing weekend.
The 1968-1976 Formula F5000 series had great racers driving for top teams in legendary cars. The champions and their cars were: Lou Sell, Eagle; Tony Adamowicz, Eagle; John Cannon, McLaren; David Hobbs, McLaren; Graham McRae, Leda; Jody Scheckter, Trojan; Brian Redman, Lola (3 times). The Formula 5000 Registry and Drivers Association organizes and promotes vintage races celebrating the legendary 1968-1976 SCCA series for F5000 cars. The organization also hosts the registry of the F5000 series cars.
