International Vintage Trans Am 2 Liter/B Sedan/2.5 Challenge Sports Sedans Featured Put-In-Bay Sports Car Races September 19-21, 2023

These vintage small sports sedans have been popular in road racing since the 1950s.  Popular marques include Mazda, Honda, Datsun/Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Lotus, Alfa Romeo, Renault, Corvair and VW.  Small sports cars and sports racing cars also have exciting races on the schedule.  Japanese marques are the events Feature Marque.

The event celebrates the original races from 1952-1959 and 1963 held on both through-the-streets and airfield circuits on South Bay Island Ohio.  The PIB vintage races and related festivities have been held annually since 2012.

VDCA Racing Into Spring Feb 11-12 Roebling Road Starts Eastern US Season

VCDA emphasizes fun, friendly but spirited competition in period prepared vintage and historic cars.  Weekends include sprint, enduro and all-comer races plus scrumptious off-track socials to promote a club racing event atmosphere.  Events are organized by club members.

Kastner Cup Celebrates 70 years of Triumph Racing, Road America WeatherTech International Challenge, July 13-16

This year's Kastner Cup celebrates the 1952 arrival of the Triumph TR2 in America and its immediate racing successes.  That was followed by decades of Triumph racing victories in TR3s, TR4s and later types.

This Triumph celebration is featured at the 2023 WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman.  Practice is Thursday and Friday.  The Kastner Cup Race is Saturday, and the Triumph Reunion Race is Sunday.

Monoposto Racing 12 Vintage Race 2023 Schedule

Monoposto racing supports the racing of vintage single seat, open wheel racing cars in North America. Special races are organized on vintage club racing weekends.  The 2023 schedule follows:

HSR Road Atlanta Apr 27-30; SVRA Road America May 18-21; HSR Watkins Glen June 8-11; VARAC CTMP (Mosport) June 15-18; SVRA Indy June 15-18; SVRA Mid-Ohio June 22-25; RA Road America July 13-16; VSCDA Grattan Aug 11-13; SVRA Watkins Glen Sept 6-10; VSCDA Road America Sept 14-17; HSR Road Atlanta Sept 21-24; SVRA COTA Nov 2-5.

As in previous years, championships will be hosted at these 12 events in 11 car classes grouped in two basic categories:
CLASSIC - Formula Vee, Formula Junior, Historic Ford, Club Ford, Formula B and Formula 2.
F70 (wings and slicks)  Formula Super Vee, Formula Atlantic, Formula 2, Formula 5000 and Indy Lights.
The new FB Continental Series celebration grids created in 2022 will continue in 2023 at selected weekends to be announced soon.

2023 Vintage Racing Season Schedule in January victorylane.com

The January special How to Get Started in Vintage Racing issue includes an updated 2023 vintage racing events schedule starting on page 43.  A five page feature on starting vintage racing, starting on page 38, provides the details on beginning vintage racing from car selection to getting licensed.

Also included on page 45 is a list of vintage racing club operated racing schools.  Upcoming special racing anniversary events are in the Driver and Car Section, page 14.
