Sept 16-18 Put-In-Bay Vintage Sports Car Races and Festival Celebrate 1962-1963 Original Races
The cars of yesteryear return to the resort town of Put-In-Bay on Ohio's South Bass Island Tuesday through Thursday. MGs, Austin Healeys, Elvas, Porsches, Abarths, Alfas, Volvos, Triumphs, Morgans, Siatas, Turners, Berkeleys, and more raced on the roads and airport back-in-the-day. This vintage racing festival will have car shows, tours, rocker cover races, pub crawls, social events, marque gatherings in town over the three days and vintage races on the airport on Thursday. The event recreates the times when sports car racing was new, exciting, challenging, but full of camaraderie. Again and again entrants and spectators are heard to say they have more enjoyment here than any other vintage events.
