Posted Sep-10-20 at 12:33 PM By Dan Davis

The new upgraded track, totally rebuilt from under base to modern surface, with a revised layout has made Eagles Canyon Raceway one of the best club friendly, yet challenging road racing tracks in North America.

The first reports from private lapping sessions have spread the word and have attracted a large and varied entry of CVAR vintage racers, Bill Wolff, President reported.  He continued that not only is the entry a record number of entrants over previous CVAR events, but it has attracted a real quality variety of cars and drivers.  There are numerous Shelby GT 350s, and Cobra’s, and a very special ex-Peter Revson Ford GT 40.  Almost every class has special entries.   A very special group of entries is dozen father-son/daughter teams.  Past CVAR president, Herb Hilton, heads a three generation team.  To open the event the Friday Brad Balles Vintage Racing School, named for CVAR’s founder, has attracted a good group of future racers.

This event is a non-spectator event with full COVID-19 protocols in effect.
