USRRC Tribute Sports Racers 1963-1968 at Sonoma CSRG April 17-19

The United States Road Racing Championship, SCCA's first pro-series, attracted the best road racing cars and drivers of the era.  There was a Manufacturers Championship and a Drivers Championship for both drivers of over and under 2 liter cars and overall.  It was held at top circuits in North America.  Drivers Champions included Bob Holbert, George Follmer, Jim Hall, Mark Donohue, Chuck Parsons driving King Cobras, Lotus-Porsche, Chaparral, McLaren M6, Lola 160.

The Manufactuers Championship of 1963-1964 was all Shelby American Cobras.

The USRRC Tribute Feature Series opens at Sonoma Raceway with the CSRG David Love Vintage Races.  it continues June 12-14 at Laguna Seca, Oct. 3-5 at Sonoma Raceway and Oct. 30-Nov. 1 at ThunderHill.
