Eagles From Dan Gurney's AAR Collection Join Over Thirty Other Eagles, July 14-17 at Road America's WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman

Eagles are the feature marque at Road America's July vintage races.  Dan Gurney's All American Racers created winning race cars in Formula One, Champ Car, Formula 5000, Formula Ford, IMSA GTP and the Indy 500.  There will be special Eagles racing in the vintage races, others will be at-speed in special exhibition sessions or on display. There will be a special AAR Eagle exhibition of Eagles and AAR history in the paddock.

Road America's annual WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman is a world famous vintage racing weekend.  Almost every make and type of vintage race car will be racing in Saturday and Sunday feature races.  Spectators invited.

Formula 5000 2022 Revival Series Opens June 16-19 During SVRA Vintage On Indy Road Circuit

The second 2022 F5000 Series race is July 14-17 during the Road America WeatherTech International Challenge with Brian Redman vintage and historic race weekend and festival.

The third 2022 F5000 Revival Series race is September 7-11 at Watkins Glen International during the SVRA vintage races during a Speed Tour pro racing weekend.

The 1968-1976 Formula F5000 series had great racers driving for top teams in legendary cars.  The champions and their cars were: Lou Sell, Eagle; Tony Adamowicz, Eagle; John Cannon, McLaren; David Hobbs, McLaren; Graham McRae, Leda; Jody Scheckter, Trojan; Brian Redman, Lola (3 times).  For the complete story with all the drama and action we recommend the excellent 2021 book on the series "Lost In Time, Formula 5000 in North America" by John Zimmerman from Racemaker Press 617-723-6533 MA.  www.racemaker.com.

Vintage Racing Action April 6-10 in Florida, Louisiana, Missouri and California

HSR opens the action Wednesday the 6th at Sebring for its Spring Fling with sprint and endurance races through Friday.  www.hsrrace.com.  

SVRA Vintage with Speed Tour is Friday through Sunday at the NOLA circuit south of New Orleans for vintage sprint races accompanying pro Speed Tour races.  www.svra.com.

Eleven Vintage Racing Events Fill the Month of April

The opening weekend, April 1-3, VDCA/VRG is at Virginia International Raceway for the Wild Hare Run vintage races.  

CSRG is also in action April 1-3 at Sonoma Raceway for the David Love Vintage Races.
