It’s A Full Grid! Nearly 100 Vintage Racing Weekends for 2021 Listed In The Schedule Page of January Victory Lane Magazine

Posted Feb-13-21 at 2:32 PM By dan davis

Optimism is high for the many vintage racing clubs that produce these weekends.  The first all vintage racing weekend is February 26-28 for the CVAR Brian Goldman Races and School at MSR-Houston.  SVRA Vintage Races which are part of the Speed Tour pro racing weekend at Auto Club Speedway were rescheduled from February 5-7 to November 19-21.  Speed Tour pro racing weekend with supporting SVRA vintage grids is February 18-21 at Sebring.   The February 26-28 SVRA Vintage with Speed Tour at Miami has been cancelled.  The usual early March Amelia Island Concours, featuring vintage and historic race cars, is now May 20-21, not March 4-7.  Many great vintage racing events are on schedule from early March through mid-December.

The 2021 vintage racing season all ends December 10-12 with the VDCA Season Finale at Roebling Road.  The December RMVR is listed by mistake on the schedule page, there is none.

An updated full year schedule page will appear in each 2021 monthly issue on this site.  Schedules of both pro and amateur racing events are subject to change due to local, state and national COVID-19 variant requirements.  It is necessary to check with the scheduling club or organization about both schedule and special at-event requirements before making final plans or attending.
