The CSRG’s Charity Challenge title is the theme for this annual major vintage weekend at Sonoma Raceway. The event raises money for Sonoma charities. Features include Saturday's USRRC Tribute race and races for Sports Sedans of the 1960s and 70s.
The VSCCA Fall Finale - A PreWar Celebration title promotes a special weekend of races at Lime Rock Park for PreWar Cars. The PreWar grids are expected to be smaller than usual due to COVID-19.
VARA’s Oktoberfest draws on the classic Munich beer festival theme for it’s races at Buttonwillow Raceway. There are special races for German cars and a German vs British cars annual feature.

The traditional Enduro Re-Imagined vintage racing weekend combines Saturday sprint races for RMVR classes with two innovative Sunday sprint/enduros. There are two enduros, one for Formula and Sports Racers and one for Production Cars. The enduro formats are three 25 minute sprints with a break between. The start for each session is the previous finish order. With the third session winner the overall winner. Pueblo is a 2.2 mile circuit with 10 turns. Pueblo is about a 2 hours drive south of Denver. The final RMVR 2020 race weekend is scheduled for October 10-11 at La Junta raceway.

The new upgraded track, totally rebuilt from under base to modern surface, with a revised layout has made Eagles Canyon Raceway one of the best club friendly, yet challenging road racing tracks in North America.
The first reports from private lapping sessions have spread the word and have attracted a large and varied entry of CVAR vintage racers, Bill Wolff, President reported. He continued that not only is the entry a record number of entrants over previous CVAR events, but it has attracted a real quality variety of cars and drivers. There are numerous Shelby GT 350s, and Cobra’s, and a very special ex-Peter Revson Ford GT 40. Almost every class has special entries. A very special group of entries is dozen father-son/daughter teams. Past CVAR president, Herb Hilton, heads a three generation team. To open the event the Friday Brad Balles Vintage Racing School, named for CVAR’s founder, has attracted a good group of future racers.
This event is a non-spectator event with full COVID-19 protocols in effect.
Historic Motor Racing News, the top European vintage racers magazine, has released their updated vintage racing and rally schedule. They note it is subject to change as COVID-19 conditions can change rapidly.
September has opened with events in France, Netherlands and Sweden. Ten events are scheduled in September and thirteen in October. There are vintage races at legendary circuits including Monza, Angouleme, SPA, Dijon, Silverstone, Le Mans and of course the Mille Miglia roads through Northern Italy. HMRN is published monthly and features vintage races, rallies and selected concours in the UK and Europe.
The sanction agreement with HSR includes providing expertise in vetting entries for authenticity competitor registration and tech.
HSR has been a major vintage racing group for over four decades. HSR was established in the 1970s by organizing The Walter Mitty Classic at Road Atlanta. HSR currently organizes numerous vintage and historic racing events each year including the International Classic Daytona 24 and the Classic Sebring 12 hour races. David Hinton has been President since 2012 of this Florida based company. He has been a regular competitor at the Rolex in recent years. David also operates Heritage Motorsports a respected vintage and historic racing prep and racer support business located in Florida.
John Narigi, President and General Manager of WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, explained “Our intent is to continue evolving the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion to new levels of excitement by continuing to attract and present the very finest and authentic race cars that owners want to drive and fans want to see”.
